This is the contract side of our commercial cleaning: daily or several times a week, on a fixed schedule, with the same crew. Warehouses and workshop floors are scoped differently under our industrial and warehouse cleaning, clinics with a disinfection routine under our clinic cleaning service, and residential lobbies, corridors and elevators under our building cleaning and housekeeping service.

What a janitorial contract covers

Daily or a few times a week: workspaces maintained, washrooms restocked and disinfected, kitchens and break rooms, entrances and common areas, garbage and recycling handled, floors vacuumed, mopped and kept in condition. The scope is written around your building, then the same crew follows it visit after visit.

• WashroomsToilets, urinals, sinks, counters, mirrors, partitions and door handles disinfected, dispensers refilled, bins emptied, floors mopped. Who supplies the paper and soap is settled in the quote.
• Kitchens and break roomsCounters, tables, sinks and the outside of the appliances wiped, microwave cleaned inside, floors done, bins out. Fridge interiors are their own item; say if you want them.
• Entrances, lobbies and receptionThe inside face of the door glass, mats, reception counters, seating and the floor a visitor crosses first. A Montreal winter puts salt and slush on that floor every morning, so it gets its own line in the scope.

Daily work and the periodic cycle

Daily means each visit, whether that is five days a week or three. The washrooms, the kitchen, the entrance, the bins and the floors are the core of each visit. Dusting a ledge or wiping a vent is different: nobody notices it for a month, and then everybody does. Those items go on the periodic cycle, agreed at the quote with the month each one comes up.

Access, alarms and after hours

We schedule around your hours, early mornings, evenings and weekends included, so the crew is not working around your staff. Tell us at the quote how the crew gets in, key, fob, alarm code or a security desk, which doors get locked behind them, and who to call if an alarm goes off or a door will not lock. The crew is insured and background checked, which matters before you hand anyone a key.

The same crew

On a recurring janitorial contract you get the same crew each visit. The crew learns which washroom takes the heaviest use, which office stays locked, where the recycling goes and how the alarm has to be armed on the way out. A new face every visit would relearn all of that on your time.

When something gets missed

If something gets missed, a washroom on the far side or a bin behind a closed door, tell us the same business day, with a photo if you have one.
